Satori offers a variety of internships. Please note that, unfortunately, we cannot offer any financial or housing support to our interns. Interns will become directly involved in all phases of working with Tom Brady helping to produce performance art pieces. Each intern will be given significant responsibility for assigned areas of the production. Successful applicants will have demonstrated success and be self motivated.
School credit may be available. Interns who successfully complete 2 sessions as defined below may be invited to participate in a group intern show running three weeks during the summer following their internship. This show will permit interns to explore their own poetic concepts as individual artists or in collaboration with other interns.

Production Art Technician Internships Light, sound set construction Art History/Archivist Build Archives of past and current work Photo/Videography produce documentation of performance Gallery/Exhibit/Theatre Administrative/staffing hours
Expectations: Interns will be expected to be available a minimum of 15 hours per week, the schedule to be determined by mutual availability. It is everyones job to get the production completed - as the season progresses the emphasis shifts and the duties evolve from building sets, through development of performance concepts, to all aspects of making the production a reality. Some weekends and evenings are required.
Skills in art technology, construction, lighting, sound and theatre are preferred. Background and interest in art, performance as art, dance, theatre and music coupled with an interest in current art/performance trends will be important in the considerations. Must have a strong sense of responsibility and willingness to see the job through.
